Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 1, 2009

The Waterjet Corporation, with its headquarters in Monza, Italy, has reached an agreement with KMT Waterjet Systems to supply Streamline intensifiers exclusively with its own range of waterjet tables.

For the Waterjet Corporation, the agreement offers advantages in terms of providing customers with a range of intensifiers with a reputation for quality and reliability.

For KMT, the agreement provides the opportunity to work with the Waterjet Corporation and Mitsubishi Electric, which supplies the CNC control systems for the tables.

The Waterjet Corporation will be offering KMT's special customised Streamline S-50 4130 bar intensifier as standard equipment together with the ultra-high-pressure Streamline Pro 6200 bar model.

Autoline cutting heads and other high-pressure components, including mixing chambers, tubes and fittings, will also be offered.

KMT's Streamline intensifiers will be offered with the Waterjet Corporation's three-axis Classica table, the four-axis Suprema with the patent Intelligent Tapering Control (ITC) system, a ball-screw driven system suitable for high-accuracy applications and the Evolution X5 machine for specialist 2D and 3D applications, featuring a patent-pending five-axis head without any angle or rotation limitations.
