Manufacturers of fork lift trucks, conveyor belts, and other mechanical handling equipment can ensure the safety of workers and plant with Klaxon's range of signals.

Employers are often required under Heath and Safety Executive guidelines to provide warning devices for these types of applications.

Klaxon can provide sounders, buzzers, hooters and beacons.

The versatile range of electronic sounders each combine low current consumption with high output, ideal for use in conjunction with battery powered systems.

One of the latest sounders from Klaxon is the Kommander, a voice sounder with built in microphone allowing the user to record their own message.

Applications include status warning for industrial machinery, machinery start/stop alert, process control alarms, safety messages and danger zone warning.

Buzzers are cost effective and robust electro-mechanical devices.

Their applications include process control and use as industrial truck horns.

The range includes the AE95 Industrial buzzer, a vibrating horn for general signalling, which has a compact design ideal for fitting to fork lift trucks.

Hooters are low frequency devices and are available as either motor driven or hand operated units.

They are used as general industrial alarms, crane warning alarms and industrial truck horns.

For applications where visual indication is required, Klaxon can provide beacons and sequential warning systems, or combined multi-tone audible/visual signals, where connection space is limited.
