Warn operators audibly of equipment movements
Manufacturers of fork lift trucks, conveyor belts, and other mechanical handling equipment can ensure the safety of workers and plant with Klaxon's range of signals.
The user can choose between five individually pitched notes, each offering a maximum output of 120 dB.
At this volume, electronic sounders now rival motor-driven sounders in their audibility.
They may be used in areas with high ambient noise levels, such as bottling plants, or steel making facilities.
The Syrex 9M has a sound frequency range of 950-1200 Hz.
The instrument offers a range of user-selectable voltages.
One comprehensive unit can switch between all four voltages, or the user can choose between units that offer two low voltages or two high voltages.
Current draw ranges between 0.11A and 0.45A, dependent upon voltage option.
The high output and low current consumption of the continuously rated Syrex range makes it a highly versatile alternative to conventional systems such as sirens, bells and hooters.
Sounders for process control can now also be wired directly to PLCs without adding loading resistors or relays.
They are suitable for process status indication and hazard warning, and are compatible with the most widely used PLCs in industry.
