Oxygen sliding agent withstands extreme
pressures
An oxygen sliding agent for fittings and valves operating under extreme pressures has an operating temperature of up to 60 deg C, and a maximum oxygen pressure of up to 450 bar.
There are two things that define the good characteristics of an oxygen sliding agent: it must never react with the medium, as this would otherwise impair the function of the fittings and valves involved; and the product has to remain aloof even when faced with ultra-high oxygen pressures or pressure surges Kluber Lubrication effortlessly meets both these stipulations with Oxigenoex FF 450, the new oxygen sliding agent for extreme pressures

* Coping with unprecedented pressure - molecular oxygen is an aggressive, explosion-friendly gas, which is why contact with conventional lubricants must be avoided.
Only special sliding agents, tested and approved by the German Federal Agency for Material Research and Testing (BAM), can safely handle applications in valves, fittings or systems that carry oxygen.
The BAM recently confirmed an operating temperature of up to 60 deg C, and a maximum oxygen pressure of up to 450 bar for the new product from Kluber Lubrication.
These values underpin the product's 'out-in-front' status, since they have not been surpassed by any other oxygen sliding agent.
Users of the new product benefit not only from the high performance reserves in terms of oxygen pressure surge resistance.
Its resistance to gaseous chemicals, too, plus the low evaporation rates of all its constituents, offer advantages in many applications.
The excellent pressure absorption capacity and consistent friction coefficients ensure maximally constant actuating forces in operation.
Production and tailoring of the sliding agent are subject to special purity stipulations.
And finally, each consignment of Oxigenoex FF 450 is accompanied by a batch-referenced BAM certificate for pressure surge resistance. Request a free brochure from Kluber Lubrication GB ...
