High speed bearing grease avoids
electrical damage

A novel electrically conductive high speed grease for the lubrication of rolling bearings continuously conducts voltage through the bearing such that static build-up is discharged, preventing damage.

Kluberlectric BE 44-152 a newly formulated and unique electrically conductive High Speed Grease for the lubrication of rolling bearings Rolling bearing failure is a common gripe for manufacturers and users of electric motors, conveyors, paper making machinery, copying machinery, film-stretching stenters and many other applications where an electric current or static electrical discharge is present

Damage is caused by a sudden voltage discharge directly through the bearing due to a build up of static electricity.

Repeated electrical discharges result in 'bar code' effect damage markings on the bearing raceways and balls resulting in expensive premature bearing failures.

Kluberlectric BE 44-152 not only behaves as an extremely effective high speed bearing lubricant but also continuously conducts voltage through the bearing such that the static build-up over time is discharged, preventing damage and increasing the life of the bearing and associated components.

Kluberlectric BE 44-152 is a fully synthetic NLGI 2 grade grease with an operating temperature range of -40 to +150 deg C, speed factor of 1,000,000 n dm and very low electrical resistance of 10,000 ohms.cm, which make it an ideal lifetime lubricant for high speed rolling bearings.

In addition, Kluberlectric BE 44-152 shows excellent EP characteristics preventing bearing damage and wear under lightly loaded conditions where ball skidding may occur as well as in the more heavily loaded mixed friction areas present at slower rotational speeds.

Why not improve the reliability of your bearings and eliminate electrical erosion damage 'all in one go' by simply changing the grease. Request a free brochure from Kluber Lubrication GB ...
