Tech centre to show 20 CNC machines in action
Over 20 machine tools featuring automation and sector-specific production, most of them in 5-axis configuration, will be demonstrated in the Hermle technology centre this Spring.
Leading machining centre and universal milling machine manufacturer, Hermle, which has a worldwide installed base of more than 15,000 machines, will hold its traditional Spring in-house exhibition at its Gosheim headquarters and factory in south west Germany from 27th to 30th April 2005 inclusive.
On the first two days, the manufacturer's UK sales agent, Geo Kingsbury Machine Tools, is hosting an organised trip to the show for British OEMs and subcontractors.
Anyone interested should contact Paula Carter on 023 9258 0371 or paula_carter@gkholdings.com Over 20 machines featuring automation and sector-specific production, a majority of them in 5-axis configuration, will be demonstrated in the technology and training centre.
Two C 30 machining centres will be shown with automated handling, one equipped with a Kuka robot and the other with a workpiece and pallet magazine from subsidiary company, Hermle-Leibinger Systemtechnik.
There will be a further 5-axis machining centre fitted with an Erowa Easy pallet changer; and a linear storage system for 15 larger 630 x 630mm pallets.
Other highlights will include tool magazine extensions with 43 and 87 additional pockets and a new magazine of mineral casting design for 157 tools, which will be exhibited for the first time.
An area of 700m2 has been set aside for a special show featuring the participation of some 35 renowned manufacturers in the field of automation and workholding.
Control system manufacturers, Siemens and Heidenhain, are also participating as well as famous names from the CAD/CAM and tool management software sectors.
Tool balancing, shrink-fit systems and measurement will be in evidence.
Visitors will be able to take advantage of a programme of seminars throughout the show and may view the Hermle production facilities on guided factory tours each day.
