Machine tool sales managers appointed
Kevin Buck and Nick Dye have been appointed sales managers by Geo Kingsbury Machine Tools, with Buck covering the Midlands and Dye the North of England and Scotland.
Kevin Buck and Nick Dye have been appointed sales managers by Geo Kingsbury Machine Tools, the exclusive agent in the UK and Eire for Index and Traub turning machines and Hermle machining centres.
Buck is responsible for the Midlands while Dye covers the North of England and Scotland.
An Alfred Herbert indentured craft apprentice, Buck holds an HNC in engineering and has worked in the machine tool industry for over 25 years.
His experience exactly matches his remit at Geo Kingsbury, as he has a track record in sales and application engineering in both fixed- and sliding-head turning as well as prismatic machining.
Dye also has a wealth of directly relevant experience in machine tool sales dating back to 1980.
He qualified as a toolmaker in the mid 1970s and gained experience in capital equipment procurement, production engineering analysis and part programming in a mechanical seal manufacturing company before starting his career in sales.
