Knovel Corporation, a leading provider of revolutionary Web-based information services, is pleased to announce a partnership with The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS).

TMS has just launched a new service called TMS e-Library.

Using the Knovel publishing platform, this new service grants all TMS members online access to full-text versions of three important reference books.

In addition to these three titles, TMS has made available an additional 21 titles for a small yearly access fee (TMS members only).

TMS members can now enjoy the benefits of Knovel's intuitive research platform, which helps users quickly locate data, analyze it, and export the results.

The three titles included in the TMS e-Library will provide information and insight to exploit the full range of materials in use today, provide all the data and references needed by those practicing metallurgy and help people identify the most suitable materials for a given application from the full range of materials and section shapes available.

"With the diversity of technical interests of TMS members, maintaining all the reference materials we need on our bookshelves is expensive and difficult," said Warren H Hunt Jr, TMS technical director.

"The TMS e-Library powered by Knovel brings those much-needed resources to our desktops and provides a great member benefit." "Knovel is excited to be on the desktops of TMS members," said Monica Nogueira, Knovel's director of Channel Development.

"TMS has addressed the meaningful demand for high-quality technical information by offering this benefit to their members.".
