Locking and holding screws hold more
strongly
Locking screws for inserts and holding screws for insert seatings, drill heads and spares feature a tightening system offering 25% higher torque transmission and improved torsional strength.
Locking screws for inserts and holding screws for insert seatings, drill heads and spares have been extremely well covered in the Komet tool programme As from now the Torx Plus device will now be used for these
With an application angle of 0deg, an enlarged contact surface and as a result a reduced specific surface load, the new tool offers 100% longer life for the screwdriver blade and 25% higher torque transmission with improved torsional strength.
The low wear from the way starting torque is transmitted and the means this provides to apply greater force improves the reliability of the screw connections.
With the same torques double the number of screw connections can be carried out with one bit than with a standard Torx screwdriver and this halves the tool change time.
