Rolls Royce has recently ordered over GBP100,000s worth of standard cranes and modification work from its near neighbour in East Kilbride, Konecranes UK.

Rolls Royce has recently ordered over GBP100,000s worth of standard cranes and modification work from its near neighbour in East Kilbride,Konecranes UK.

Seven cranes in total are in the most recent orders along with several alterations and re-locations to existing equipment, four of which have now been installed and most of the alterations are completed with the remainder for completion in June.

The cranes are equipped with a mixture of Konecranes new CXT rope hoists and traditional XN chain hoists.

All the cranes have dual speeds on all motions and the CXT rope hoists have condition monitoring and true lift feature.
