Plaxton Coaches have taken delivery of three 1 tonne CXT single girder cranes from East Kilbride based Konecranes UK.

The cranes which are under-running models each have an 11.5 metre span and are fitted with many of Konecranes state-of-the-art features including, condition monitoring, DynAdrive variable speed on cross and long travel motions and dual speed on the hoists.

The cranes are pendant controlled have with 60% ED hoist motors, a true lift feature with minimum hook movement during lifting and lowering, motion limit switches and phase mismatch sensing all help to provide extremely safe lifting operations.

The order, worth over GBP 55,000, was placed on the 4th of September and delivered and commissioned by 15th October, a delivery time that is becoming the Konecranes' norm for such cranes.
