Kopex appoints Scottish area sales manager

Jim Walls has been appointed as the area sales manager for Scotland by Kopex International, the market leader in the design and manufacture of specialist electrical conduit.

Jim Walls has been appointed as the Area Sales manager for Scotland by Kopex International, the market leader in the design and manufacture of specialist electrical conduit.

Jim will be developing specifications for Kopex products within the shipbuilding, MOD, rail, offshore, petrochemical, food and other industries with demanding and hazardous applications.

He will also be looking to expand the network of Kopex Accredited Specialist stockists throughout Scotland to provide local service and product availability.

Kopex is one of the leading brands in Cable Management Products, which also includes Adaptaflex and Elkay.

This new role for Walls sees him being the Scottish manager for all these leading names.

Walls says: "The different brands differentiate well in the market place, taking Kopex high specification products into the specialised sectors represents an opportunity to develop Cable Management's market share still further." Walls has extensive experience in the electrical industry.

Prior to joining Adaptaflex, he had an extensive career in the electrical and electronics industry in the fields of sub-contracting and OEM sales.
