Kopex International has appointed Damien McKenna as the new Northern Area Sales manager and he brings a wealth of sales and engineering experience.
Damien McKenna has been appointed as the new Northern Area Sales Manager for Kopex International, the leading supplier of specialist electrical conduit solutions.
McKenna brings a wealth of sales and engineering experience to the new post having previously held a sales management position with the world leader in the manufacturing of cable and waveguide pressurisation equipment.
McKenna will be working with customers in the North of England, developing specifications for demanding applications of Kopex conduit in markets such as food processing, healthcare, shipbuilding and UK Ministry of Defence, petrochemical and hazardous areas.
He will also be expanding the company's network of Accredited Specialist Stockists and supporting existing outlets.
His appointment reflects the Kopex's company's commitment to the market with its team of experienced sales managers and the provision of technical support for specifiers, users and distributors alike.
McKenna is currently also studying at Leeds Metropolitan University for a BA Honours degree in Business Management.
Outside work he is a keen golfer and a Leeds United season ticket holder.
