Tough electrical conduit suits food plants
Electrical conduit offers a highly flexible non-metallic solution for use throughout food manufacturing and brewing plants and includes extremely tough and durable smooth PVC covered conduit system.
Conduit withstands corrosive environments
A conduit with a stainless steel core and a cotton packed, black PVC covering has been designed to offer unrivalled cable protection in corrosive environments.
Manufactured from the specialist polymer PEEK, which has excellent mechanical, thermal and chemical properties, the range is available in basic form as a non-metallic flexible conduit.
It can be applied throughout the offshore, nuclear, MOD, petrochemical, heat treatment, aerospace and rail sectors.
For applications requiring high EMI screening, the 'PEEK' conduit is overbraided with a tinned copper sheath.
Alternatively, for applications demanding abuse resistance and high mechanical strength, a stainless steel overbraid is employed.
PEEK conduits meet the requirements of IEC61386 with operating temperatures of 45 deg C to +250 deg C.
In static applications the conduit can be used in temperatures down to -60 deg Cto +3000 deg C.
Properties include an extreme temperature range from -60 deg C to +260 deg C continuous operation, lowest smoke and toxicity of any thermoplastics, UL94 VO flammability rating, best chemical resistance, London Underground (LUL) approval, FDA approval, radiation resistant (2000 Mrads), self extinguishing and availability in uncovered and braided versions.
PEEK is just part of Kopex's continually expanding range of specialist conduit systems available from its network of accredited specialist stockists.
The company prides itself on providing quality and performance, problem solving and full approvals for high specification specialist solutions.
Their rigorous quality standards and a dedicated development programme ensure not only the highest specification and reliability, but also the most cost effective solutions.
