Router, switch, industrial computer are combined
Korenix desc ribed its JetBox 9300 as the 'ultimate networking engine' as it combines a router, Ethernet-managed switch and industrial computer into a single compact box.
The Korenix Jetnet 3000 Series IP30-rated aluminum cased industrial entry-level Ethernet switch, apart from its price competitiveness, unlike plastic chassis for commercial switches, provides a rugged, acid corrosion-proof and heat resistant solution, said the company.
Other key features of the Jetnet 3000 Series includes the terminal block and ventilation holes that are placed on the bottom side of each unit to reduce the chance of damage due to dust and moisture ingress.
Adopting store-and-forward switching architecture greatly increases the network efficiency, according to Korenix.
To meet industrial device redundancy requirements, all Jetnet 3000 models are equipped with a terminal block to provide dual power inputs with reverse polarity protection.
To further cope with harsh industrial environments with extreme temperatures, Korenix has also released Jetnet 3000-w Series industrial entry-level wide temperature Ethernet switch, which is said to have an operating temperature from -4 degrees C to 80 degrees C, giving extra assurance that systems can run non-stop.
The Jetnet 3000 Series includes 5-port TX, 8-port TX, 4-port TX plus 1-port FX (single mode or multi mode), and optional wide operating temperature models.
All Jetnet 3000 Series models have MTBF over 380,000 hours and a five-year warranty worldwide.
