Korenix Technology has announced the launch of the JetCon Series Industrial Media Converter this spring.

Korenix Technology, the professional manufacturer of top-notch products for industrial automation, has announced the launch of the JetCon Series Industrial Media Converter this spring The Korenix JetCon Series Industrial Serial/Ethernet/Fiber Media Converter automatically converts serial/Ethernet/fibre signals without any modification to the connected PC's hardware or software

The JetCon Series consists of 4 models:.

* JetCon 2301: Ethernet-to-Fibre Converter.

* JetCon 2101: RS-232 to RS-422/485 Converter.

* JetCon 2101i: RS-232 to RS-422/485 Isolated Converter.

* JetCon 2101ir: RS-422/485 Isolated Repeater.

JetCon 2301 is an Ethernet-to-Fibre Converter with one SC type connector.

When connected to fibre, the JetCon 2301 can transmit up to 30 km with single mode, and 2 km with multi mode, offering highly reliable data transmission from Ethernet devices.

The built-in Link Lose Forwarding technology and fault relay output promptly alarms users if a port breaks or power fails.

The robust aluminum case offers IP30 standard protection plus dual redundant power inputs with reverse polarity protection.

The JetCon 2101/2101i/2101ir allows you to overcome the limitations of the RS-232 protocol, including speed, range, and networking capabilities, by utilising different voltage lines for data and control signals.

The JetCon 2100 Series has the built-in "AutoPro" function, which can adjust the JetCon's baud rate and data format for different devices in an RS-485 network.

Most RS-232 to RS-485 converters in the market use DIP switch to select baud rate and data format, but "AutoPro" allows JetCon to be auto-configured to the same baud rate and data format in the entire RS-485 network.
