Router, switch, industrial computer are combined
Korenix desc ribed its JetBox 9300 as the 'ultimate networking engine' as it combines a router, Ethernet-managed switch and industrial computer into a single compact box.
The well-known Oxford chip has built-in bi-directional 128-byte FIFO, which enhances the efficiency of the system.
This chip is also compatible with the widely-used industry-standard 16C550 devices.
In addition to increased performance and FIFO size, the JetCard also improves automatic software flow control by using XON/XOFF, and automatic hardware flow control by using CTS#/RTS# and DSR#/DTR#, allowing more stable transmission at both receiving and transmitting ends.
Under the multi-node 2-wire RS-485 mode, the built-in high-performance RS-485 mode-switching logics can effectively increase RS-485 transmission performance.
Korenix Launched the Jetcard Series Multiport Serial Card for you to cope with the demanding conditions of industrial environments, including extreme temperatures and high humidity.
The JetCard's operating temperature is between -10 deg and 70 deg.
Korenix also provides extended operating temperature models, the JetCard W Series, for you to choose from.
The JetCard W Series uses highly-reliable components, and the Oxford chip specially-made to accommodate environments with extreme temperatures.
The JetCard W Series allows applications to work normally under temperatures between -40 deg and 80 deg.
The JetCard Series driver supports Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003, and Linux.
Along with JetCards, a self-diagnostic utility is provided to quickly examine the JetCards and make adjustments accordingly.
The JetCard Series Multiport Serial Cards are as follows:.
* JetCard 1204 - 4-port RS-232 Universal PCI Card.
* JetCard 1208 - 8-port RS-232 Universal PCI Card.
* JetCard 1402 - 2-port RS-422/485 Universal PCI Card.
