Standard for Ethernet power-sourcing equipment
PoE, or IEEE 802.3af, has been standardised since 1999 to define a way to build Ethernet power-sourcing equipment and powered terminals.
The JetNet 3705 series switches are Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), and are fully compatible with Powered Devices (PD) that complies with the IEEE 802.3af PoE standard.
The JetNet 3705 use an external 48VDC power source, can both deliver up to 15.4 watts power in maximum and 10/100Mb data transmission over Ethernet cables.
The PoE ports also have an auto-sensing algorithm so that they provide power only to attached 802.3af end devices.
JetNet 3705 is Korenix strategical product.
There are more and more industrial client devices support PoE PD feature, such as the surveillance camera, wireless access points, industrial sensor, security card reader, and IP phones".
The 3705 industrial PoE switch can stably supply power and transmitting data communication over the same link.

JetNet 3705 has been designed to endure harsh working environment, severe operating temperature.
The switch supports 1500 VAC port to port isolation, the devices connected are highly protected if any port damaged.
Other protection include PoE over voltage/ under-voltage protection, PoE over-current/ under-current protection and PoE short circuit protection.
The switch also provides relay alarm output for port breaks and power failure.
