Korenix releases Jetnet 3008f Fast Ethernet switch

Korenix has released the Jetnet 3008f, a new generation of the eight-port compact Fast Ethernet switch.

The Jetnet 3008f is equipped with a 2.0Gb/s packet switch engine as a particular packet forwarding and filtering mechanism to fulfil industrial communications on the filed site.

It provides the packet forwarding ability to handle 64-1552 packet size into two priority queues, which complies with quality of service for the best data forwarding performance.

In addition, broadcast storm filtering and flow control functions can ensure data traffic is delivered to its destination without congestion.

To avoid interference as well as to extend network coverage, Jetnet 3008f is adapted to two 100Mb/s fiber ports with multi-mode 2KM or single-mode 30KM transceiver in order to achieve stable far-end transmissions.

Features of the Jetnet 3008f industrial 6+2-100FX port Fast Ethernet switch include: six 10/100 TX ports and two multi-mode or single-mode fiber Fast Ethernet switch; 2.0Gbps switch fabric with good data exchange performance; support 1.5KV Hi-Pot isolation protection; redundant power input DC 12-48V; aluminium case with IP-31 grade protection; -25 to +70C operating temperature for hazardous environment application; quality of service for packet forwarding performance; broadcast storm packet filtering; and fault relay.
