Krauss-Maffei is choosing K01 in Dusseldorf this October to launch its first-ever range of electric injection moulding machines.

Krauss-Maffei is choosing K01 in Dusseldorf this October to launch its first-ever range of electric injection moulding machines.

The new product line heads range of IM, extrusion and PU technologies.

The new Eltec range is available in 500,800,1100 and 1500kN versions and combines the benefits of the successful C range machines with electric drive, resulting in a machine that offers high precision, speed and stringent cleanroom-capability.

Krauss-Maffei will also be showcasing its new Injection Moulding Compression system and developments in LSR technology, together with a new thermoset machine enabling larger and heavier parts to be produced.

Extrusion developments on show include a new generation of direct extruders and counter-rotating twin screw extruders, both of which promise radical cost savings and increased output.

On the reaction technology front, Krauss-Maffei will be highlighting cost-effective high pressure technologies including the latest RIM-Star ECO II machine; developments in RRIM thin wall technology; and the productivity-boosting Star-Trac overhead conveyor system.
