Graziano Parisi, for many years a managing director of Krauss-Maffei Kunststofftechnik, has begun a well-earned retirement.

Although Parisi laid down his responsibilities as a managing director of the plastics machinery company on December 31, 2005, he had continued his association with KMK as a consultant.

"We thank Graziano Parisi for his outstanding work and his great contribution, especially as head of the Extrusion Division, to Krauss-Maffei's successful growth through the years".

"All our good wishes go with him into the future," said Josef Maertl, Krauss-Maffei CEO.

Born in Italy, Parisi began his career at Deutsche Steinzeug.

From the 1960s onwards, he held various management posts in companies operating in the plastics machinery industry.

In July 1992, he joined Krauss-Maffei as head of Extrusion Technology, successfully driving the division's growth until October 2003.
