At the German plastics injection moulding machine builder, Krauss-Maffei, Stefan Neumann is to succeed Peter Sassenfeld as chief financial officer.

Stefan Neumann is to succeed Peter Sassenfeld as CFO at Krauss-Maffei Kunststofftechnik.

Sassenfeld himself is moving on to become CFO at Krauss-Maffei's parent company mpm.

Stefan Neumann joins Krauss-Maffei from Demag Plastics Group USA, where he has been CFO since May 2005.

Before that he spent two years as general manager and finance director for a division of Epcos, a former Siemens subsidiary.

Neumann began his career at Siemens, where he joined a management trainee programme soon after graduating in accounting and business administration.
