Division manager to lead workholding development
Kurt Manufacturing Company has appointed Richard Henderson to the position of Division Manager for its Industrial Products Division to head up work holding manufacturing, product design and sales.

Henderson to the position of Division Manager for its Industrial Products Division.
Henderson will head up the division's manufacturing, product design and sales groups for workholding products including the world-famous Kurt Anglock line of vises.
Kurt's workholding operations encompass the design and manufacture of both standard vise product lines and custom engineered workholding, both of which are marketed throughout North America and European markets.
Henderson brings to Kurt over 25 years of broad manufacturing experience, most recently as engineering manager at SPX Power Team, a large, global manufacturer of hydraulic tools and workholding products located in Owatonna, Minnesota.
At SPX Power Team, Henderson was responsible for new product development managing a staff of over 30 project engineers and bringing to market products that accounted for a third of the company's revenues.
Prior to this position, Henderson held supervisory positions with the SPX OTC Division and was engineering manager of NCI Corporation in Bend, Oregon.
He was also a design engineer with Fabrivalve in Portland, Oregon.
Henderson holds a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota, management training from the University of St.
Thomas Management Center, and Lean Manufacturing Training through the Manufacturers Alliance.
