Automotive parts gauging order valued at
$2.5m
Kurt Electronics, a division of Kurt Manufacturing Company, has announced an order for 29 precision gauging systems - worth $2.5 million - for measuring automotive components.
Kurt Electronics has announced receipt of an order for 29 automated gage (gauge) systems designed to measure precision machined automotive components Valued at over $2.5 million, the order is from a leading automotive parts manufacturer as it expands production with Kurt's latest high speed, automated gage systems which are designed to ensure quality of the manufacturing process

Kurt reports that these new gage systems measure accuracy to within +/-10 microns at the rate of one part every 10 seconds.
