Software reduces injection moulding
rejects
Running on a laptop, the combination of signal conditioner and data management software provides real time graphic display, analysis, monitoring and documentation of injection moulding.
Injection moulding waste and rejects can be virtually eliminated by the combination of the Kistler PiCo signal conditioner and Dataflow software, run on a laptop computer, to provide real time graphic display, analysis, monitoring and documentation of the injection moulding process, especially multi-cavity moulding A compact unit combined with a standard laptop computer can increase productivity by minimising out of spec injection mouldings and inspection time, especially in multi-cavity moulds, by using mould pressure and temperature analysis

Compact torque sensors suit many applications
Piezoelectric reaction torque sensors, having high sensitivity, extremely rigid construction and compactness, can be adapted very easily and flexibly to suit a wide variety of installations.
The Kistler PiCo signal conditioner accepts four pressure and four temperature input channels and has digital outputs for the automatic rejection of out of spec items.
The Dataflow software, run on a laptop computer, takes data from the PiCo unit to provide real time graphic display, analysis, monitoring and documentation of the injection moulding process.
Using this system, the production engineer can establish the optimum settings for any type of injection moulding process at both component and process step levels for both single and multi component mouldings made up of hard and soft elements.
Once the optimum pressure and temperature settings have been established on one machine, they can be transferred to control all other similar machines, ensuring consistent, high quality production.
The complete system, including PCMCIA card, connecting cables, an inductive proximity switch and comprehensive user handbook, is supplied in an easy to carry, leather case with accommodation for the user's laptop.
