Adaptor based mould pressure sensor allows moulds to be disassembled and inserts changed simply and quickly without risk to the sensor or its cable.

The new adaptor based Type 6155AE mould pressure sensor from Kistler allows moulds to be disassembled and inserts changed simply and quickly without risk to the sensor or its cable The adaptor based sensor is mounted on the mould retaining plate where the single wire technology allows the sensor cable to be led through a simple drilled hole

The sensors are accurately aligned with drilled holes in the insert making mould inspection easier and maintenance costs significantly lower.

For moulds without cavity inserts, the adapter based sensor is mounted on the second mould plate.

The adaptor based sensor is especially suitable for use in complex moulds with extensive cooling.
