Synergy offers disaster recovery planning

A Synergy Technology product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Aug 25, 2008

Synergy Technology has announced the launch of its business continuity planning (BCP) service.

The company said that while normally BCP focuses on the whole of the company representing all functions within the business, of which IT is a large part, the Synergy disaster recovery planning offering provides a service per individual, per geographic area.

It promises to have IT and telecomms functions restored to a business within four hours from the time of the first call, ready for key staff to arrive and resume normal business.

This includes complete access to all normal IT functions and data direct.

This is taken from a current backup regularly taken of a customer's server and then loaded onto Synergy's own secure disaster recovery server if required.
