Kubota has unveiled the B2420 24hp tractor, which the company said is a user-friendly machine that is powerful, reliable and durable.

The compact and slimline design - measuring 1m wide - makes the B2420 suitable for work in confined spaces.

The B2420 targets a wide variety of customers, including smallholders, horticulturists and grounds-care professionals.

It is the largest model in the B20 Series and features Kubota's 24hp three-cylinder E-TVCS (three vortex combustion system) diesel engine.

This low-emission engine is claimed to offer high power while minimising noise and vibration levels.

With four-wheel drive, a maximum speed of 19.4kmh and nine forward and three reverse gears, the operator can match the power and speed to tackle even the most demanding of tasks.

The B2420 features power steering and the ergonomic design and simple layout aims to ensure maximum visibility and comfort to minimise operator fatigue.

The tractor has a comfortable suspension seat, a backlit instrument panel and a full flat operator deck for ease of access.

The vehicle also includes a parking brake and large, angled colour-coded levers for hassle-free shifting.

A 615kg lift capacity at the three-point hitch enables the use of a wide variety of implements.

The rear PTO has two speeds so that operators can achieve maximum performance and efficiency.
