Robot orders roll in from car component
makers

A pair of Kuka robot cells will weld door assemblies for a number of models.
In addition, Kuka's long-standing involvement in the production of the BMW Mini at Cowley is to be boosted following an order to supply 30 of its latest generation Series 2000 robots for the new Mini Cabriolet.
These robots will be involved in various applications for the assembly and joining of car bodies.
