Kuka Robotics has announced it has been selected by SHL Automation (SHL) as its robotics supplier for its new grinding and scotching system.

The new system is designed to grind, scotch and measure door handles.
The Kuka KR 16 robot is a six-axis robot with a 1610 mm reach and capable of handling up to a 16 kg payload.
