Choosing robots for surface finishing applications
Robotics manufacturer is to present its latest research on choosing the best robotic system for surface finishing at a workshop scheduled during September.
KUKA Robotics Corporation will present its latest research on choosing the best robotic system for surface finishing at the Robotics Industries Association (RIA) Robotic Grinding, Deburring and Finishing Workshop to be held September 17-19, 2007, at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis in Minneapolis, USA.
Ben Sagan, vice president of KUKA Robotics, will be presenting KUKA research on the best choice of robotics systems for surface finishing based on the materials being finished on Tuesday, September 18 from 9:15am-10:00am.
The presentation will address when robotic finishing is the best choice for finishing the customers' materials and will present the latest technology available in robotic finishing systems.
"This workshop is an excellent opportunity for networking for both industry representatives as well as end users who need to stay on top of the latest technologies and solutions for grinding, deburring and finishing," said Stuart Shepherd, president of KUKA Robotics Corporation.
"We believe that the event is an important industry resource and are delighted to be participating and sharing KUKA's expertise".
Sagan is vice president of sales and marketing for KUKA Robotics.
He is responsible for the company's United States sales and marketing.
Sagan joined KUKA Robotics in 2000 and has over 19 years of international robotic and automation industry experience including sales, marketing, engineering, operations management, customer service and training.
The RIA's Robotic Milling, Grinding and Finishing Workshop features tutorials, presentations and exhibits designed to present the latest research and technology for the milling, grinding and finishing industry.
