Kuka to present welding robots at Euroblech

Kuka Roboter will exhibit its specialist welding robots, KR 5 arc and KR 5 arc Hollow Wrist, at the Euroblech trade fair in Hanover, Germany.

Two of each type will be cooperating with the Kuka positioning table Posiflex 5 (KPF 5), creating a team for arc welding applications with 29 axes working together.

The KPF 5 has five axes, handles a payload of up to 500kg on each side and can be flexibly integrated into demanding systems.

The Kuka welding robots are fitted out with equipment from EWM Merkle, Fronius, Kemppi, TBi, Dinse and Binzel Abicor, providing flexibility.

In the Kuka Smartbend cell, visitors can also see a KR 5 arc Hollow Wrist robot performing a bending process at a Gasparini press brake.

Kuka Roboter is also showcasing other industry applications at the booths of companies belonging to its extensive network of system partners.
