Compact pneumatic cylinders are purpose designed to provide efficient use of available space and are significantly shorter than conventional ones.

KV has a wide range of cylinders designed to meet every application, and the compact and Clamp series of cylinders is purpose designed to provide efficient use of available space and provide a highly cost-effective solution to the market place Designed around VDMA body mounting dimensions, the new compact pneumatic cylinders are significantly shorter than conventional cylinders, and ideal for use where space is at a premium

The range is available in bore diameters from 32 to 63mm and each cylinder is supplied complete with magnetic pistons for external electric sensing.

In addition, with an extended cylinder nose incorporating a PTFE lined bearing, increased side loading can be accommodated.

Also designed for installation in confined spaces, KV's new short stroke cylinders provide fast response actuation for clamping, conveying and tool holding applications.

Single acting units are available with non-magnetic piston assemblies, whilst double acting cylinders can be supplied with either magnetic or non-magnetic pistons.

Clamp cylinders have an operating pressure range of 0.5 to 10 bar.

There are eight diameter options ranging from 12 to 63mm, the larger of which are compatible with VDMA 24652 body mounting dimensions.

With hard anodised aluminium bodies, stainless steel piston rods and polyurethane seals, both new series can operate at extreme of temperature.
