OEE data collected via Web for US$500/machine
Using machine data transducers - one connected to each machine - a Web enabled system improves production efficiency by collecting real-time data from all types of production machines.
A new Web enabled ProductionACE system provides manufacturers with tools to improve machine-based production efficiency.
Windows software collects real-time data from all types of production machines using Machine Data Transducers, (MDT), one connected to each machine.
The MDT-02C unit connects directly to machines using existing electrical on/off signals, rather than complicated (or non-existent) serial connections.
Windows software monitors machines and provides displays of machine status (run, slow, down), production rate and cycle time and production-hours-to-run for job completion.
With these real-time, enterprise-wide accessible tools, supervisors and management can identify production bottlenecks before productivity suffers.
The system eliminates errors and time delays inherent in manual data recording methods by automating collection of machine production, productivity/OEE, run time, down time, production and reject counts.
The resulting data can be viewed by up to 10 users in the 'local' plant or by unlimited users in remote production facilities using standard Web browsers.
Users can 'point and click' to customize printed reports to analyze historical data and evaluate performance of shifts, departments, machines and products.
The MDT's integral networking enables a PC to communicate with up to 64 MDTs located thousands of feet from the PC.
The MDT requires no local AC power connection; a Communications Interface module at the PC provides power and communications over a low cost, four conductor shielded cable.
Multi-user software runs under Windows 95-98, NT, and 2000, and can be upgraded to include drag and drop production scheduling, usage-based preventive maintenance and integration with ERP systems.
List price for the MDT-02C is US$249.00.
The cost for unlimited-user Windows software, including the PC Communications Interface is US$1595.00.
Thus, pricing for a complete 10-machine system is under US$500 per machine.
