Key Technology announces the appointment of Steve Brunt as Pharmaceutical Industry Sales Specialist for automated inspection and specialized conveying systems.

Steve Brunt is responsible for bringing Key's automated inspection and specialized conveying systems to the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical markets worldwide, providing customers with GMP-compliant solutions that safeguard product security and quality, while increasing throughput and reducing manufacturing labor "With over 100 systems installed in FDA-validated solid dose inspection applications such as softgels, two-piece capsules, and tablets, and more than 50 years experience in delivering innovative inspection and conveying solutions to the food, tobacco, and recycling markets, Key is poised to be a preferred partner to manufacturers in the pharmaceutical industry," noted Richard Hebel, Director of Marketing and Business Development for Key Technology

"This industry is central to Key's strategy and Steve is ideally suited to take a leading role." Brunt brings more than ten years of sales and engineering experience in the pharmaceutical market and twenty-five years of experience with machine vision systems to his new position at Key.

Most recently, Brunt was Director of Sales at Insight Control Systems International.
