Measure metals' temperature without
touching
More metal manufacturing processes can now be monitored by Land Infrared's System 4 non-contact temperature measurement range, using a thermometer for lower temperatures.
More metal manufacturing processes can now be monitored by Land Infrared's System 4 non-contact temperature measurement range, following the introduction of a thermometer for lower temperatures The new low temperature M1 thermometer is designed to cover the range 450 to 1000degC, complementing the 600 to 1600degC and 800 to 2600degC ranges already being used in hardening, forging, soldering and sintering applications

Infrared thermometer shows furnace status
A portable infrared thermometer for checking furnaces shows four simultaneous live temperature measurements 450 to 1400 deg C - peak, continuous, average and valley.
Two focal variants are available, each having a 30:1 FOV: M1 450/1000C-V, with standard variable focus from 0.5m to infinity; and M1 450/1000C-S, with short variable focus from 0.35 to 1.0m.
Minimum target size is 11.7mm diameter.
M1 thermometers operate at short wavelength (1.0 micron) to minimise errors due to uncertain emissivity.
They are housed in a rugged die cast aluminium body, sealed against water ingress to IP65, for operation in hostile applications.
A choice of mounting and protection accessories is available to satisfy specific temperature measurement needs in any industrial or laboratory environment.
System 4 thermometers also feature through-the-lens sighting with a 6deg viewing angle.
Adjustable focus with a circular graticule gives precise alignment on to small targets, covering more than 98% of emitted infrared energy.
The new M1 thermometers are used in conjunction with a digital or dialog Landmark signal processor; Graphic, Classic, Basic or the new Technic. Request a free brochure from Land Instruments International ...
