Digital infrared thermometers set up flexibly
The latest range of portable and on-line infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras and process imaging systems include digital infrared thermometers with Ethernet connectivity.
The latest range of portable and on-line infrared thermometers, thermal imaging cameras and process imaging systems from Land Instruments International, Infrared Temperature Measurement will be demonstrated at the MTEC '06 exhibition, NEC, Birmingham, UK.
The new compact SOLOnet range gives complete flexibility in the way infrared thermometers are set up, configured and monitored.
Incorporating digital technology, SOLOnet offers an integral web browser and Ethernet connectivity so that each thermometer can be set up remotely from a laptop, desktop PC - without the need for specialist software, and can be connected and monitored on a PLC or company wide network.
There are four models in the SOLOnet range, with operating wavelengths selected to suit a wide variety of applications: SN11 (1 micron) for measurement from 550 to1750 deg C (metals and glass); SN21 (1.6 microns) - 250 to1300 deg C (metals processing); SN51 (5 microns) - 200 to 1100 deg C (glass processing); and SNR1 - 700 to 1750 deg C (2-colour ratio).
The latest Cyclops TI 814 thermal imager now has an optional built-in visual camera to make it even easier to detect and record potential process and plant problems.
Cyclops TI 814 uses an uncooled 320 x 240 pixel, long wavelength focal plane array detector, giving a temperature accuracy of better than +2 deg C within the range -20 to 1500 deg C.
The mobile phone-sized Land Guide M4 is the smallest thermal imager available, and has a measurement range of -20 to 250 deg C, with sensitivity of 0.12 deg C.
The miniature, low-cost M4 thermal camera has many advanced features such as fingertip controls, high quality thermal and visual images with voice annotation, on-board image processing, built-in laser locator, 1GB memory and versatile USB connectivity.
The compact, rugged FTI Mini process thermal imager provides continuous, on-line thermal monitoring of plant and process, within the range -20 to 500 deg C, in a wide spectrum of hostile industrial applications.
The miniature FTI MV thermal imager provides on-line thermal monitoring, within the range -20 to 500 deg C, in machine vision, surveillance and a diverse range of other applications including medical, research and mass screening.
