Pipette Tracker Pro Meets 21 CFR Part 11
The security implementation in Pipette Tracker Pro includes: User ID and Password control, Electronic Signatures and an audit trail function that logs all system activity and changes.
The Validation Toolkit includes two separate components, a full documentation package and a software application, that provide detailed guidance and automated assistance for both IQ and OQ.
Together they reduce the amount of time and resources required for conducting a thorough validation of a LimsLinkCDS implementation.
The documentation portion of the Validation Toolkit includes testing procedures, tables, lists and charts that guide and assist in the IQ and OQ validation of LimsLinkCDS installations and methods.
IQ and OQ Checklists cover items such as hardware, software and file verification, installation protocol, validation of the security components and validation and versioning of the interfacing methods.
Using the documentation package as their guide, LimsLinkCDS users are able to take a thorough and structured approach to validation of their application.
The software component of the Validation Toolkit can automatically run IQ each time LimsLinkCDS is used or on a regularly scheduled basis.
In the event of a validation failure, the user can be automatically denied access to the application and an e-mail can be sent to supervisory personnel to advise them of the failure.
Also included in the software portion of the Validation Toolkit is a Method Documenter that automatically converts methods to a text file that can be used to document and archive the interface's functionality.
The new Validation Toolkit provides laboratories with a valuable resource for increasing the efficiency of their LimsLinkCDS validation process.
