Sealed solvent and vacuum machines tested

A Layton Technologies product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Dec 1, 2006

UK facility offers the viewing and testing of cleaning systems - including sealed solvent with vacuum machines - to comply with Solvent Emissions Regulation 2007.

A new demonstration facility will offer companies, who are looking at component cleaning equipment options, the opportunity to view and test the suitability of various systems - both solvent and aqueous - in a single location.

Layton Technologies say that companies can now view all types of cleaning systems including sealed solvent with vacuum machines - designed to help companies meet their obligations under the SER (Solvent Emissions Regulation 2007).

The demonstration suite also has component cleaning equipment specifically designed to safely use alcohol or flammable solvents plus a full range of aqueous in-line or single chamber systems which also feature various drying technologies and integrated automated handling.

The demonstration facility can also be used to test clean components or to evaluate cleaning chemistries as part of a range of other services for companies looking at changing or improving their cleaning processes.

Located in North Staffordshire, the facility is a short distance from both the M6 and M1, mainline rail stations and four international airports.

Visits can be arranged by either calling Chris O'Rourke or via the company's Web site.
