Motion control systems made for heavy
use

For a range of heavy duty applications, a range of motion control systems have been introduced that satisfy a single axis unit, or a full 32 axis interpolating system.

Mitsubishi expand their range to include 400V servos - for a range of heavy duty applications Whether you require a single axis unit, or a full 32 axis interpolating system, you can be sure there is an ideal Mitsubishi motion control solution to suit your needs The new MR-J2 Super series, based on Mitsubishi Electric's highly successful MR-J2 servo series, now has power ratings of 50W-22kW and is available in 200V and 400V versions

Putting all their experience and knowledge into the new 'Super' series provides the automation industry with a near perfect servo drive.

The Super series comes in three distinct versions, each appealing to a different potential application.

The Super MR-J2S-A series comes with analogue and digital inputs and is ideal for all single axis applications such as positioning over speed and torque control.

The MR-J2S-B series with network bus facility is perfect for precise multiple axis synchronisation solutions, and the MR-J2S-CL series is an inexpensive, totally programmable amplifier that gives a complete positioning solution for the smaller power range.

One of the many features of the super series is real-time adaptive auto-tuning, which continuously monitors the control parameters and adjusts them automatically to match current conditions.

This auto-tuning function delivers optimum performance for a many previously 'difficult' applications, including suspended loads and high friction applications.

To accompany the extension of the Super series is a new range of 400V motors.

All Super series motors have a high 131,072 resolution absolute encoder fitted as standard, to ensure precise control, simplified system synchronisation and shorter start up times by removing the need to keep re-homing the axes.

An Integrated Circuit identifying chip is also fitted as standard to every motor in the Super series.

This chip allows the connected servo amplifier to immediately recognise the connected motor characteristics and adjust accordingly.

This automatic recognition gives true 'plug and play' connectivity, making these motors incredibly easy to install and setup. Request a free brochure from LC Automation ...
