Award-winning workholding specialist Leader Chuck Systems has appointed Ian Sketchley as Sales Manager.
Award-winning workholding specialist Leader Chuck Systems has appointed Ian Sketchley as Sales Manager.
Formerly area sales manager with Crawford Collets, Ian's vast experience in collet chuck applications ideally complements Leader Chuck System's existing chucking and workholding expertise, and he joins the Birmingham-based company at an opportune time, he says.
"Leader has just launched the cost-competitive Hainbuch Lexon collet chuck as a readily available economical replacement for multi-bore and other styles of collet chucks in bar-fed turning applications," says Ian, "and as one of my main initial tasks I look forward to demonstrating to users how they can capitalise on Lexon's numerous beneficial features".
Following a time-served apprenticeship with Cincinnati Milacron, Ian's established reputation in the manufacturing engineering sector has been built during a long career in various roles at both machine tool and tooling supply companies.
