One of Europe's largest manufacturers of springs, Lesjofors of Sweden, is looking for companies to buy in Europe, to establish a more physical presence in its markets.

Lesjofors of Sweden, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of springs, is on the acquisition trail and setting its sights on establishing a more physical presence in the UK and throughout Europe - including eastern European countries.

Lesjofors has been manufacturing springs since 1852 and is headquartered in Sweden.

Manufacturing takes place in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia and China with sales companies additionally in Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

The company, which is very solid and showing consistent growth, focuses on three business areas: * Industrial Springs.

* Flat Strip Components.

* Automotive Chassis springs.

The company offers a complete springs package, producing bespoke designs plus a standard stock catalogue range of over 10,000 items.

Lesjofors is seeking to acquire spring manufacturers dealing in the area of CNC coiling, producing small to medium volumes of cold coiled springs - valued in the range of GBP 2 to GBP 10 million (EUR 3-15 million).

Suitable companies would be general spring manufacturing with a broad customer base or niche oriented manufacturers with a global market.

It would also be a plus if the company is dealing with standard stock springs.

As Group managing director, Kjell-Arne Lindback, explained: "Lesjofors has the potential to compliment any range so that any possible company could have a 'complete supplier profile'." Interested parties with companies for sale are invited to contact Kjell-Arne Lindback.
