Quick Fit Ac Or Dc Current Monitoring Relays
LEM has introduced families of current monitoring relays that combine a current sensor and a relay in a single split-core package, making them suitable for cabinet applications in process automation.
Colour Display And Extra Memory To Power Analyser
LEM has enhanced its Norma 4000 power analyser with a colour display and a memory option, no other analyser offers such high performance and accuracy in such a compact box.
They can be uploaded to the Analyst Q70 using the FLUP programme supplied with the instrument.
The new software offers an improved display of all measurement data and a new NAVKeys function guides the user around the instrument's measurements screen quickly and easily.
Recordings of 10 minute averages for more than 80 days are now possible, while up to 32,000 events may be captured.
A new 'multi-session' recording feature allows up to three separate recordings to be made and stored in the instrument.
The three recording areas can be combined to create one larger recording area for long-term recordings.
Over 20 new measurement parameters have been added, including harmonic power and phase angles for individual harmonics.
Combined with improved graphical display functions for waveform and harmonics bargraphs, data can be evaluated more easily.
Harmonics up to the 50th are presented with magnitude and phase information simultaneously.
The phase information provides vital clues as to which direction harmonics may be coming from, indicating which loads may be causing problems.
The new harmonics recording mode uniquely provides a stacked bargraph mode that shows the user the harmonics currently measured and the minimum and maximum values over the recording period.
A new 'Inrush' measurement allows characterisation of motor start-up.
By simply setting the current trigger level, it is possible to see what current is drawn during start-up and for how long.
This is particularly useful for the location of nuisance tripping of current protection devices.
The download software for the Analyst* Q70 has also been upgraded.
The PQLog* package offers one-step download and analysis; the in-built reporter automatically analyses data and prints reports to suit the user's requirements.
The Analyst Q70* is supplied with a standard 3000A LEM~Flex flexible current probe, hard carrying case, voltage measuring leads, batteries, mains power adaptor and PQLog software.
