Flash Enhances Performance Of Power Quality Analys
New facilities of the upgrade Analyst Q70 hand-held power quality analyser, can be downloaded to the flash memory of existing units, offering an easier-to-use interface.
It has been adapted to form online e-learning modules, which can also be accessed from the website, and provides the basis for a series of free technical seminars on a host of power quality (PQ) issues including earthing, availability, measurement and solutions.
For details of programmes and venues and to register visit http://www.cda.org.uk/PQP/pqp.htm.
As another part of the Leonardo Initiative, LEM is organising a series of seminars to educate and disseminate information on power quality.
These free seminars will help users to identify, monitor and resolve power quality problems in LV installations.
This knowledge can help to increase reliability and reduce costly downtime and the possibility of damage to equipment.
The seminars provide essential background information on power quality phenomena and the European and UK standards governing the distribution companies, along with practical advice on recognising and rectifying PQ problems.
The seminars will provide a good understanding of the basic concepts and theory behind the causes and effects of poor power quality and the solutions available, along with the opportunity to discuss problems and solutions with the presenters.
Next events: 19th October - Dublin 9th November - Doncaster 19th November - Leamington Spa Please contact LEM to book your place at a seminar and receive further information.
