Current transducers operate from single
5V supply
The HASS series of LEM's range of current transducers designed to operate from a single +5V power supply has been added to its repertoire.
LEM has added the HASS series to its range of current transducer families designed to operate from a single +5V power supply The seven units offer maximum current measurements from 50 to 600ARMS, and share the same mechanical design, measuring only 40 x 30 x 32.5mm with a 20.4 x 10.4mm aperture for the primary conductor

Split-core transducers for AC current measurement
LEM has introduced the AT series of AC current transducers, reducing the price point for products made to LEM's demanding quality standards.
The transducers weigh only 55g, an important feature for panel-mounting applications.
A unique LEM ASIC designed for use with open-loop Hall-effect technology has been used to provide performance improvements, including better offset and gain drifts and improved linearity, in addition to an extended operating temperature range (-40 to +85degC) compared to traditional discrete technology.
The transducers can measure DC, AC and pulse currents, with low power consumption, while providing galvanic isolation between the primary and output circuits.
The internal reference voltage (2.5V) is provided on a separate contact (of the Molex 5045-04A connector) or can be forced by an external reference (between 2 and 2.8V) for reference thermal drift cancellation.
Gain and offset are fixed and set so that, at Ipn, the output voltage is equal to Ref in or Ref out +/-0.625V.
The HASS series transducers are CE marked, conform to the EN 50178 standard (recognised for industrial applications) and are provided with a five-year warranty, as are all LEM industrial products.
