Free Software for drive configuration

A Lenze product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Feb 19, 2007

Software for the Lenze 9400 servosystem is available free of charge from the internet or on disk.

Entry level software for the new Lenze 9400 ServoSystem is available free of charge as a web download or on a CD.

Suiting systems with up to 5 drives, L-force StateLevel software configures the complete drive train comprising the controller, motor and gearbox, in a user-friendly way with optimised screen views.

As all required program elements are included in the software, users do not have to switch between different programs.

Lenze have paid particular attention to the useability of this new drive software.

It is intuitive and can be learnt without previous experience or high expertise.

Numerous graphics-based views and screens make it easier to configure and set the parameters of the drives.

StateLevel even includes a 2-channel software oscilloscope so actual performance of high speed machinery can be recorded and viewed for diagnostic purposes.

L-force StateLevel software is ideal for service and commissioning personnel.

A step up is the HighLevel software capable of handling up to 15 drives in a system.

This includes functions for network set-up, communication interconnection and function block creation, not to mention an expanded oscilloscope with 8-channels.

HighLevel is chargeable but at a rate which is below the market average.

A unique feature of the HighLevel software is the ability to store complete project documentation.

Data in various common formats such as Word, Excel, can be input to create a project archive.

This archive can then be downloaded to the memory module of a Lenze 9400 servo drive where it becomes accessible at any time for commissioning and service engineers.

Time-consuming searches for information become a thing of the past.
