Servo motor offers maximum dynamics

Latest compact servo motor ranges have an increased power and torque capacities of 50% and the number of models has been expanded.

At the recent SPS/IPC exhibition in Nuremberg Lenze announced extensions to their servo motor ranges that increase the power capacity by 50% Synchronous and asynchronous motors are manufactured in the Lenze factories near Hannover

Both ranges have new models which increase the top-end power and torque capacities by half.

Synchronous servo motors are used when maximum dynamics are needed.

The Lenze MCS range is particularly compact with high power density and internal design results in almost imperceptible cogging torques at low speed.

The range is now available with IP54 axial blowers which increase the output by up to 50%.

There are now 48 models within the range with outputs up to 15kW/75Nm.

Asynchronous servo motors are robust and well suited to wide speed ranges - the Lenze MCA series is rated up to 8000r/min.

Two new sizes have been added to the MCA range which now covers powers from 0.8 to 31.5kW and rated torques from 2 to 90Nm.

These servo motors are part of the Lenze L-force portfolio.

Options include brakes and feedback by resolver, incremental or absolute encoder.

There are matching single and multi-axis servo drives, also a range of in-line and right angle servo geared motors where the motor is integrated into the first reduction of the gearbox, reducing length, cost and backlash.

These new motors are approved to CE, GOST and cURus which is particularly useful for Eastern European markets. Request a free brochure from Lenze ...
