Motors designed for smoke ventilation systems
A new range will set the standard for electric motors designed to withstand the high temperatures experienced during a fire.

The standard range of FHP motors (rated up to 1kW) is extensive and includes 2,4 and 6 pole single and three-phase asynchronous, together with three-phase multi-speed.
'Varmeca' motors are available with an integrated drive, enabling speed to be controlled locally by means of a built-in dial or remotely through a Profibus network connection.
Motors can also be supplied with reduction gearboxes to adapt the motor speed to that of the driven machine.
Other options include a variety of mounting arrangements and flange styles, as well as a choice of terminal box and cable gland positions.
