Polyonics, the specialist in harsh environment labels and product marking for identification, will introduce the XF-800 Series metal labels at Labelexpo Europe 2005 - stand 6J75 They are claimed to withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees C (1,112 degrees F)

The company said that unlike any other label or tag currently being supplied, the XF-800 Series does not have to be tack welded or nailed.

The labels can be applied automatically to hot surfaces by using an adhesive, which has been designed to adhere directly on to hot billets, bars, coils, slabs and more.

Polyonics works closely with the aluminum and steel industries.

Thermal transfer printable, the XF-800 series allows for onsite bar-coding and alphanumeric identification.

The XF-800 series heat-resistant labels were developed to survive hot metals manufacturing in order to provide easy, accurate traceability from start to finish.
