Advanced search criteria for over 11,000 reference materials are available online at www.lgcpromochem.com with advanced search facilities and online ordering.
Advanced search criteria for over 11,000 reference materials are available online at www.lgcpromochem.com with advanced search facilities and online ordering.
With a choice of navigating in English, French or German, LGC Promochem's new interactive website is designed to speed up and facilitate the process of locating the right reference materials and, for account holders, purchasing them online.
LGC Promochem, the leading reference materials supplier in Europe, offers a selection of reference materials from the world's leading producers as well as a variety of certified reference materials from its own in-house production facility.
It is planned that the number of reference materials available online will rise to 25,000 by the end of 2003.
LGC Promochem is also the exclusive European distributor for ATCC cultures and bioproducts.
Tilo Karrer, Managing Director, based at LGC Promochem in Wesel, said: "With our knowledge of the reference materials market across Europe, it became obvious to us that an advanced, user-friendly website facility to search for and purchase reference materials would reflect our customers' needs.
We are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients across Europe and for this reason our website is also available in a choice of languages.
For the first time, our account holders can select and order the required reference materials in one quick and easy process online." New users can complete registration online to search for reference materials according to product group or a catalogue number.
From here, existing LGC Promochem clients can purchase their selections via an online 'shopping basket'.
If the catalogue number of the reference material is already known, there is a 'Quick Order' form, particularly useful for existing customers with repeat purchases.
Elizabeth Bewick, General Manager of LGC Promochem, said: "LGC Promochem's specific aim is to ensure the very highest levels of customer service from ordering through to delivery times, and we have invested significantly in both material and human resources.
The launch of the new website is the next step in reinforcing this aim, ensuring that our international service to customers remains at its optimum." The site will also regularly feature special offers and promotions, and a range of market specific catalogues can be ordered or downloaded at any time.
